Dear Returning and Prospective TDS Families,


     We are thrilled to announce our Grand Reopening on July 6th! We are so excited to be back in class with our students and share all the new things happening at the studio with you. Many of you may have already noticed a change to our logo. We are celebrating the studio's revival by introducing a new logo and colors. Yellow represents the joy of learning and sharing knowledge, and an expression of individuality. It is a symbol of optimism, laughter, confidence, creativity, strength, and friendship. Even through the difficulties and adversities we have faced as families, businesses, and as a community recently, we are honored to continue providing an environment for the youth in our community to safely grow and learn about the wonderful world of the performing arts. 


     When you return, you will also notice some changes to the studio! We hope you will be pleased with the changes and may even get a sneak peek of our newly renovated studios and lobby, a brand new boutique, and TDS merchandise by following us on Facebook and Instagram. Our social media pages are a great way to stay informed about studio events and promotions. 


     Other changes you will notice will be on our schedule. We are making changes to our schedule to spread out classes and keep the number of students and visitors within the studio to a minimum. The new schedule will be available on our website Saturday, June 27th at noon. Please know in advance we may have to move classes to different times and days to provide a safe environment for our staff, students, and families. If for any reason the new time of your child's class does not work for you please let us know. Besides keeping occupancy to a minimum we are also implementing new procedures for sanitizing and social distancing. Your health and safety is our priority. We hope these changes will provide you with a fun and comfortable experience. 


     All previously registered students will need to re-enroll. This will reserve your place in the class when we return July 6th. Online registration opens June 27th. You may register for classes using your parent portal account or come in 10 minutes before your first class to register. There is no Registration Fee for returning students. As mentioned previously, we are doing our best to accommodate the scheduling needs of our families. If the new time or day does not work for you, please let us know. We will work with you to find a solution. Families who are interested in taking our classes via Zoom will need to register for the class as normal and request Zoom access by email. A form you may copy and paste into an email is available below. You only need to fill and send the form if you would like us to stream your class(es) via Zoom.


     After much deliberation, we have decided to schedule our annual recital for Saturday, December 19th. This will give our students and instructors time to prepare routines and give us a chance to give you a wonderful recital experience. Our biggest show of the year cannot be rushed. While the pandemic may have interrupted our dance season, we are determined to give our students the opportunity to shine on stage. Costume deposits and orders have been placed but it is not too late to be a part of this year's recital! Please visit our front desk for more information. For orders that were previously placed, there will still be time to change your costume size or have your child remeasured. We know our students are growing quickly! 


     2020-2021 Team Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 26th! Our team's competition season was also interrupted by the pandemic. We have just two competitions left to close our season in San Diego and Anaheim. Be sure to wish our team members and team instructors lots of love and support in the coming months! Our members and instructors have worked so hard to prepare routines that would represent The Dancers' Studio across Southern California. Are you interested in being a TDS Team Member?      We can't wait to welcome all of our new and returning families! We want to thank you for being a part of The Dancers' Studio and for allowing us to share our love for the performing arts with you. There are lots of new and exciting changes happening at the studio and we cannot wait to share it with you.

New Safety Procedures
  • One visitor per student allowed in the lobby.

  • Lobby seating will be spaced to practice social distancing.

  • All visitors are required to wear face coverings. Students do not need to wear face coverings in class but should wear when in the lobby for breaks between classes.

  • Students will sanitize hands when entering and exiting class. 

  • Students will practice social distancing in class by following marks on floors and barres.

  • Class equipment, studio barres, and lobby counters will be disinfected between each class.
